Hello and Congratulations to the entire membership of the Lake Superior Chapter of SCI!
Last night I received a telephone call from John Davis from National SCI in Tucson, Arizona. He was a member of the selection committee, that chose our chapter to be “The Chapter of the Year” for chapters with 200 or more members. This is the second consecutive year that we have received this award out of 179 chapters worldwide. This is unprecedented and a very high honor for us. Each and everyone of you can be proud of your contribution in helping us get this prestigious award.
I also want to say a special THANK YOU to Julie Hill, our chapter co-ordinator. She took the initiative and did a fantastic job in completing the application for this award. John Davis said that “The Lake Superior Chapter” exemplifies every thing that SCI stands for. The award is based on being a well rounded group of dedicated individuals.
