After the overwhelming success last year of our first annual Minong Youth Outdoor Day, we expanded to two events including one at the Northwestern Gun Club. Our two events activities included archery and firearms safety instruction and then trophy awarded marksmen contests in archery, 3D archery, rifle, air rifle and computer simulated virtual reality hunts. There truly was something for everyone! It was a great opportunity for grandparents, parents and children to share their love of the sport and maybe try something new. Over twenty sponsors joined us to help fund the events, including the Wisconsin and Minnesota DNRs.
